β€œIn the midst of winter I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.”

There are many reasons why people choose to seek counselling to help them navigate difficult periods in life. For some, the focus will be a current life crisis, while for others it may be a traumatic event or events they have experienced in the past.

Many people seek support, not for one single reason, but for general feelings of anxiety, depression or low self-esteem, particularly when these difficulties are affecting work, personal relationships and overall quality of life.

Whatever your individual reason for seeking help, I see counselling as an opportunity to make sense of the life you have experienced so far, to explore what is happening for you now in the present, and to take ownership of your life going forwards - hopefully with a greater sense of confidence and awareness of the options that are available to you.
